Waste Management

Council operates two Waste Management Facilities (Narromine and Trangie) and one Waste Transfer Station (Tomingley) within the Narromine Local Government Area (LGA).

A three-bin kerbside waste collection service operates for the urban areas of Narromine, Tomingley and Trangie. The three-bin service provides a weekly Food & Garden Organics and Landfill Waste collection, and a fortnightly Recycling collection.

The following zones in Tomingley receive a one-bin service (Landfill Waste): R1, R5, RU5, IN1, and B2.

Some types of waste should not be placed in kerbside bins. Council Waste Facilities cannot accept certain waste. See EXCLUDED WASTE for more information.
