Economic Development Unit
Narromine Shire Council’s Economic Development Unit is responsible for leading, managing and delivering Council’s strategies, policies and programs to promote the sustainable economic development of the Shire.
Narromine Shire Council is a supportive Council with a ‘can do’ approach, and is strongly focused on assisting business growth to boost the local economy.
The Economic Development Unit can assist business and industry in a range of ways, including:
- Offering businesses and investors a first point of contact regarding economic development activities
- Being a point of contact between business and Council
- Providing information, support and referral services
- Providing economic information and the latest data
- Linking business operators with other government agencies and regional organisations to assist with business development and funding opportunities
- Assisting with any regulatory requirements
