Water restrictions lifted to level 2 in Narromine

Due to increased rainfall, cooler conditions and a reduction in water usage, Narromine residents are advised that Water Restrictions will be lifted to Level 2 from Monday 9 March 2020.

The Narromine Shire including Narromine, Trangie and Tomingley are all now on Level 2 water restrictions.

Narromine Shire Council’s General Manager Jane Redden said “We thank the residents of Narromine Shire for their ongoing commitment to water conservation over the summer months”

“We encourage residents to continue to be water wise and to use water efficiently to avoid wastage” she said.

“Until we are confident that overall water consumption has normalised Council will continue to enforce level 2 water restrictions across the Shire” she said.
