Narromine Shire Council's Doug Moorby Recognised in NSW Parliament

Narromine Shire Council proudly congratulates Manager Utilities, Mr Doug Moorby, on receiving a special mention in the NSW Parliament by the Member for Dubbo, Mr. Dugald Saunders MP.

Narromine Shire Council General Manager Mrs Jane Redden expressed great pride in Doug’s achievements.

We are incredibly fortunate to have Doug on our team – he really is Narromine’s very own ‘Legend of Water’,” Mrs Redden said.

Doug’s recognition follows his recent accolade as a recipient of the NSW Water Directorate’s ‘Legends of Water’ award, further highlighting his significant contributions to the water sector. His work not only benefits the Narromine Shire but also influences best practices across NSW’s local government sector through his leadership roles in industry organisations.
