Narromine Shire Council Closure Friday 12 April 2024

Narromine Shire Council wishes to inform all residents, businesses and visitors of the upcoming closure of all Council facilities on Friday 12 April 2024.

This includes the Administration Building, Customer Service and Payments Centre, Works Depots, and Waste Facilities. The purpose of this temporary closure is to enable the attendance of staff at a Health, Safety and Wellbeing Event.

Mr Phil Johnston, Acting General Manager, Narromine Shire Council, emphasised Council's unwavering commitment to the safety and wellbeing of its team members. He reiterated that Council staff play a pivotal role in enhancing the lives of individuals within the Narromine Shire Local Government Area and their wellbeing is of utmost importance.

Workplaces can have a profound impact on health and safety, for better or worse, therefore prioritising the health and safety of our staff is integral to ensuring they can effectively serve the community, said Mr Johnston. 

Regular operations will resume on Monday 15 April 2024.
