Media Release: Council meetings now recorded

Council is now audio recording its Ordinary and Extraordinary Council Meetings in accordance with Council’s Code of Meeting Practice.

The audio will be available for download from Council’s website the day after each meeting and until confirmation of the minutes at the following Ordinary Meeting.

Narromine Shire Council’s General Manager, Jane Redden said “the audio recordings will provide transparency and openness of Council decisions”.

“This is an exciting step to further connect with our community”

“Community members who are unable to attend the meetings will be able to listen to the meeting at a later time” she continued.
