Have your say - Draft 2021/2022 Integrated Planning and Reporting

Narromine Shire Council is reminding residents to have their say on the draft Integrated Planning and Reporting Framework documents.

These documents are crucially important as they guide Council’s activities over the next 12 months. 

This includes the Operational Plan detailing the annual budget which provides a list of scheduled capital works for the 2021/2022 financial year.

Whilst the accompanying Draft Statement of Revenue Policy and the Draft Fees and Charges outlines the proposed rates, fees and charges, including:

• Council rates will increase by 2.0% (in line with the annual rate peg);
• Fees and charges will increase in the order of 2.5%;
• Water consumption charges will increase to $1.85 KL for Narromine and Trangie residents and $1.62 KL for Tomingley residents.

Residents can view the draft documents on Council’s website at www.narromine.nsw.gov.au/council/public-exhibition. The documents are also available for inspection at Council’s offices, the Macquarie Regional Library – Narromine and Trangie branches and the Tomingley BP Station.  

Written or electronic submissions are encouraged and must be received by Council before close of business on 9 June 2021.
